1970 Chevy Nova Yenko Deuce

1970 Chevy Nova Yenko Deuce

Buy American Muscle Cars, 1970 Chevy Nova Yenko Deuce For Sale

Price $119900
Location Las Vegas, Nevada

Found this one rare version of the Nova lineage well-known as Yenko Deuce, the owner claimes only 175 Deuces were produced in 1970 and this one of them still in immaculate condition. The car has been totally restored and has driven about only 25700 miles since then, and present well by photos were posted in Craigslist about 16 days ago and still online today for $119900 or ready to trade.

Detail about this car by owner
Selling my 1970 Nova Yenko Deuce. Car is bone stock and with the exception of the CE block( which is date code correct), my car is completely numbers matching. The car has seen only 26,000 miles and I know the entire owner history of the car.

They manufactured only 175 Deuces in 1970 and it is believed that only around 82 survive today. Mine is one of 25 Forest Green cars. Mine has a 4-speed, much more desirable than the floor shift automatic! Note that my car is running the original, super rare Atlas Mags!

My car is listed in both the Yenko and Deuce registries.

A complete frame off restoration, with picture documentation, was undertaken less than 3,000 miles ago.

Real Yenkos are a smart investment. The last one sold at Mecum Indy a few months ago for $154,000 (with buyer's premium). Mine is absolutely as nice and $35K less.

I would consider a trade for a real 1961 Chevrolet Impala SS with a 409 and 4-speed or possibly a 1965 Big Block Vette or a 1963 SWC Vette. Maybe a real 66-71 Hemi.

This car is a solid 340 driver car with older paint/cracking checking paint here and there some cosmetic wear from it's time sitting in the CAS. sun...dash is perfect and int. is mint. Only has exterior cosmetics left to do to take it to the next level. All the hard to find rare 1971 340 Demon engine parts are included, and paint is still in good-fair condition local show driver condition for 15-20 years old with normal wear an some sun cracking and age showing outside but it still get the thumbs up at the shows and has the stance of a good 2-5 footer with no major dents or prior repairs on this solid body, run it hard today and enjoy it. Low production numbers for the 71 340 Demon and the docs this car makes it an investment grade car long term and with a little elbow grease come into the money easily at mid 30s later. All them OEM parts removed, both perfect factory exhaust manifolds, factory intake, factory carb, factory valve covers, breathers, etc. No trades needed but I like 69-74 clean or resto bikes or "brats" Hondas 175-550s vintage only thx as partial payment or a RZR 4 seater 2012 or newer, No call helping me sell, if listed it's still available. Can not hold the car, have your cash or deposit with you first come will probably buy this deal, but if I know your traveling to come look at it I will not show or sell it out from under you like some guys might! Thx.

Detail about this car by owner
Here's we have found today at craigslist is one of coolest American muscle car being offered as an survivor example with its 48,000 original miles. As you've seen here is AMC Javelin AMX released in 1974 still in original factory stitching in and out, no mechanical issue all in great shape and all works properly could be nice to kept it.

Detail by Owner
1974 AMC Javelin AMX
Original Survivor
48,000 + Original Miles
304 C.I. / 3 Speed Automatic
Everything Original - Paint, Body Panels, and Interior

Car was Purchased New in Wisconsin (Land Of The AMC's) in Late 1974, and remained there with the Original Owners until 2010
2nd Owner Purchased in the Car - From New Jersey, and Owned it until My Purchase in September 2011 - (He Found the 79 Anniversary T/A of His Dreams)
I have Owned the Car Since 2011 - (Owned a 1972 AMX 401 - 4 Speed Car When I was a Teenager in the Late 70's)

Unique Story About This Car:
The Original Owner Wanted a New AMX in 1974. After Visiting Several Dealerships Locally There Were No AMX's Available Anymore. It Was The Last Year They Were Produced - 4,980 AMX's Out Of 27,696 Javelins.
After Seeing This Car on The Lot With Optional Side Stripes They Opted to Have The Dealer Add All The AMX Options To This car To Make It An AMX.

Added / Replaced: * AMX Functional Fiberglass Cowl Induction Hood *AMX T Stripe Decal On Hood and Fenders * AMX SS Flush Mesh Screen Grill, Emblem, and Parking Lamps * 71-73 AMX Front Spoiler * Rear Ducktail Spoiler, and Emblem * AMX Blacked Out Rear Taillight Panel and Bumper * AMX "Go Package - Rally Pac" Instruments * AMX Interior Engine Turned Aluminum Trim and Emblems to Upper Doors, and Dash Panel Face * Upgraded Rally Steering Wheel * 14" Magnum 500 Wheels
During This Transformation, The Original Owner Opted to Retain Some of The Original Take Off Parts Which Are Still Wrapped in Newspaper from 1975, I Still Have Some Of These Parts - I.E.: Burlwood Interior Trim Panels, Front Chin Panel, Etc.
Overall The Car Is Truly A True Survivor / Unrestored Car

"They're Only Original Once"
Racing Javelin AMX's Won The Trans-Am SCCA World Titles with Penske Racing/ Mark Donahue Teams in 1971, 1972, and 1976. Drivers Included George Follmer and Mark Donahue. These Cars Regularly Competed With the Chevy Camaro, Ford Mustang, Dodge Challenger
Since My Ownership I Have Checked Over The Car to Make It Roadworthy. New Battery, Alternator, Plugs, Wires, Tune Up, Replaced The Fluids, and Filters, Etc. Tires Have Less Than 200 Miles On Them.
Items Requiring Some Attention: Radiator Should Be Re-Cored, and Possibly a Shroud Added. Tends to Start To Run Warm On Real Slow Cruise Type Situations For an Extended Period Of Time - Never Overheated. Brakes Should Be Gone Thru - Discs Front / Drums Rear. Believe the Rear Drums Could Used Turned Due to Long Periods Of Sitting / Possible Internal Corrosion. The Car Does Stop Fine For Now.

The Car Does Have a Couple Small Areas of Rust ... Behind Each Rear Quarter Panel Wheel Opening, and and Area or Two Along the Cowl, and A Pillar Area ... They Have Been Treated / Touched Up and Have Not Appeared to Spread Any Further.
Car Has Always Been Garage Kept or In An Enclosed Trailer.
Car Has A Clean CA Title in My Name, Currently Registered, and Insured.
The Prices On These Cars Are On The Rise, and There Aren't Many Available "The Forgotten Muscle Car"
Parts I Have Acquired That Can Possibly Be Negotiated Into The Sale.
* Legendary Auto Interiors - New Seat Upholstery Front & Rear, New Jute Carpet Kit Front & Rear, New Rear Package Tray Panel.
* 3 Each Factory 15" x 7" 8 Slot Rally Rims - Nice But Need Restored.
* 4+ Rally Rim Volcano Center Caps - Very Nice Shape.
* Fully Restored Complete Cowl Induction Air Cleaner Assembly.
* Used Power Brake Booster Assembly
* 401 C.I. Engines - Have a Few

The First 8-10 Photos Are From My Ownership, The Later Photos are From Prior to When I Purchased The Car ... Will Post More Photos When I Have Time to Get The Car Out of Storage.

Asking $15,000 OBO
