Detail about this car
This 1969 camaro Z10 looking for a new owner, was listed at Craigslist about a month ago and still online today. 1969 Chevrolet RS/SS Camaro Z10 396 BBC frequently identified as "pace car coupes," the 1969 Camaro Z10s are not merely hardtop versions of the popular Z11 Indy pace cars. They're even more rare (between 200 and 600 were built), and were built for a very limited region in the southwest. Dover White paint job featuring Hugger Orange stripes. This Camaro has had a high quality restoration making this a very nice driver to enjoy. You can be proud to own at any car show, event or track day.

Paint code 50 Dover White with Hugger Orange stripes D80 spoilers, ZJ7 rally wheels, ZL2 cowl induction hood, Z22 Rally Sport package, and Z27 Super Sport package. Z10 cowl tag. Car comes with new wheels and tires shown and the original wheels with tires. ( both are pictured on the car)

A majority of the Z10s were small block cars, far fewer were equipped with the 396. This car has been restored to look like a factory 396 with many of the upgrades hidden to make it look like an original. The motor is now a BBC 540 cubic inch Merlin BBC with roller cam but runs off of todays pump gas so you can get in and drive it anywhere. 4 speed transmission 12 bolt 4:10 gear posi-track . stock exhaust manifolds with all the attention in detail to make the exhaust look like factory from front to back. Just about every nut and bolt on the car has been restored to make this a 1969 Camaro run and drive like new. This car is as clean under the car as it is on the exterior or interior of the car. A lot of restorations skip the detail this car has underneath. Attached are photos of how clean this car really is.

You can fly into DFW and drive the car home.

Detail about this car by owner
Found this one 2-door hardtop Chevy Impala SS being offered for sale in New River, Arizona. 1968 Chevrolet Impala SS396 325hp
Matching numbers FACTORY M-21 Muncie 4-speed A/C P/S P/D/B - Bucket seats - Floor Console
Factory Air Conditioning works excellent and blows ice cold. Excellent driver.
History of car is that it has always been in the southwest between Texas and Arizona. Very slight bubbling of paint at rear quarters but it won't show up in photos. Some rust at rear trunk area (see photo), OTHERWISE THIS IS AN almost RUST FREE SOUTHWEST GEM.

Paint was changed from gold to orange/red color years ago. It is very presentable as a driver. Some paint flaws I've tried to show in photos. NOT A CONCOURSE SHOW CAR--please guys, this is an excellent condition 'driver' that performs super well.
All original chrome, trim, rallye wheels, etc. All in good shape, but definitely original with some stress cracks in corners of chrome bumpers, etc. This is a 5 footer car--definitely nice driver quality but not a perfect show car by any means. Could be restored to show car quality, but why would you? Too much fun to drive as is.
12 bolt rear differential, 3:31 ratio open rear end.
245/60/15 Cooper RWL radials are at approx. 80% tread remaining. Spare included but NO JACK.
All dash gauges - interior and exterior lights - buzzers & alarms - all working great---MISSING RADIO. All window glass (tinted) might be original and in excellent cond. All windows operate as should roll up/down all window crank mechanisms in good condition & operate smoothly.
Clutch and transmission working excellent. Runs excellent--starts easy and runs great. NO ISSUES with any driving mechanicals or function. Fan motor blower heater A/C works great. 4 speed Muncie shifts very well, nice & tight with no slop in shifting mechanism or trans. Clutch action is smooth and engages/disengages nicely with no slip.
Interior was changed from gold seats to black years ago. So this was an original gold/gold car changed to red/black. Original carpet still in place. NO CRACKS in original dash. Vinyl top looks newer and is in excellent shape. All stainless trim and chrome is original, all SS badges appear to be original.
Original engine rebuilt at 84K miles with mild cam upgrade, head & valve work, etc. Not a drag racer, but still street-able and mildly tuned. Very powerful engine has great sound and mild lope to cam. Foot to floor and this beast will really move, even as big and heavy as it is. True dual exhaust with magna-flow mufflers all the way to back. Excellent suspension, tight steering with no slop, excellent brakes, NEW DRIVE SHAFT, NEW POWER BRAKE BOOSTER, NEW A/C LINES and compressor re-charged, NEW FUEL LINES, etc.
If you've read this far you probably already know how rare a factory matching numbers engine / matching numbers 4 speed Muncie Trans / true SS396 / Air Conditioning / Power Steering / Power Disc Brakes car is. The factory air combined with factory 4-speed makes this car very rare indeed. This is also the rarer still Custom Coupe body style.

Call if any questions -- Mike show contact info Located in New River, AZ 85087 (just N. of Phoenix).
I invite any all prospective buyers to physically inspect car in person prior to purchase. PLEASE CALL ME if unclear about any of these terms.
I found the numbers at the passenger front of the engine block and they read as follows:
T1220IA 78R133506
Looks like it is indeed a factory 4-speed, and the last nine digits also match the car's V.I.N.
This does indeed appear to be a very special car, and I hope that she goes into someone's collection of rare high performance GM muscle cars. Please remember to drive it though, as it's really too good of a car to just sit.
The brakes are power DISC front & DRUM rear.
The carb is an Edelbrock 4-bbl (big one). All other accessories including radiator, fan, shroud, pumps & pulleys etc. seem to be OEM original.
The A/C might have been converted to R-134, however I can't promise that. I don't see any stickers designating it as having been converted, so it's possible that it might still be charged with R-12.
Please feel free to call or email with any more questions.

Buy American Muscle Cars, 1968 Black Convertible Chevelle SS For Sale

Price $36000
Location Portland, Oregon

Detail about this car by its owner
This is a real Super Sport Chevelle that has the 396/350 HP original M21 Muncie 4-speed and rear end matched to the car. The car is a two owner, and I have a clean title in hand. The person I bought the car from had it for nearly 30 years. He bought the car when he was 16.

Everything works on the car- no issues, no rust, no dents. The interior, exterior and top are in excellent shape. You would be hard pressed to find one nicer then this "REAL" Chevelle Super Sport. The first three numbers in the vin are 138 confirming the car is a true Super Sport Chevelle. The car sounds really nice, new exhaust, with power steering, power brakes, and posi traction. New BF Goodrich TA's all around including the spare tire.

The car was originally dark blue. The last owner over the years completely changed the color to black; he said over the years he had it painted two times in black. The under carriage is nice, no rust. The motor has less then 1500 miles since the last owner had the engine rebuilt. All gauges work, including the roll tachometer. The drivers seat is electric, and the top is manual; easy for one person to take up and down. The rear window is glass.

The last three pictures were taken with my cell phone along the Columbia River Gorge, if you look close you can see Mt Hood in the background.

I am trying to make room in my garage, and need the space. If I don't answer leave a message and I will return your call. This car is definitely a collector and is worth more then I am asking, making room in my garage.

Detail about this car by owner
This is a 1967 Camaro Convertible that has been fully restored. It looks and runs in "show room condition". It has a 1969 "427" "4 bolt main" engine, block number 3963512, 425 HP. Mated to this engine is a very rare 1967 Muncie "M22" "Rockcrusher" 4spd transmission, cast number 3885010. It also has a 12 bolt positraction rear axle and power steering. All of this was professionally rebuilt to manufactures specifications. Car was taken completely apart and restored. This processes took four years to complete. Car has been driven less than 400 miles since restoration. Original radio has been reinstalled since these pictures were taken. Also, a 1967 Rectangular Big Block GM traction bar is installed on the rear axle. The four original corner weights are still in place. This car was suppose to have gone to Barrett-Jackson Auction in Arizona, but, I became ill and I could not take it. A 67 Camaro, in this condition with a 396 engine and an M20 Muncie, brought $75,000.00 at that auction...
