Detail about this car by owner
Up For Sale!!! This is a 2-owner Classic Collector Car and Extremely Rare 1968 Ford Torino GT Convertible "Survivor". The actual original mileage is 66,402 miles and is Only 1 of 5310 built in 1968. This is a perfect candidate for a Collector Classic restoration because of its Rarity! Clean & Clear Florida title in hand! This Beauty features the original 302 CID V-8 engine and Automatic Transmission with Power steering, power windows and Disc brakes. Before acquiring this vehicle it was originally owned and purchased NEW by an elderly couple and kept garaged with the top down. I have a copy of the owner's manual, meticulous documentation and a binder of various model-specific data related to this 1968 Torino GT. Minor repairs have been performed over the past few years due to the vehicle's age. These repairs include: master cylinder and brake booster, tune up, new battery, some new hoses and belts, exhaust work and 2 front tires as well as some minor brake work. The previous owner had the car painted and the trunk was always in good shape. Relatively new carpeting was installed as well as some minor carburetor work. All minor work done was to try and preserve the integrity of the vehicle as it came from the factory. The convertible top works fine and Uninstalled black top with plastic rear window new in box (just like the original) is included! Also, black parade boot is brand new (as seen in the pictures). The car starts right up, runs well, and has plenty of pep for a 302CID V-8 engine. As far as I know, this is the original engine, transmission and all matching body parts. The bumpers are solid and original. Due to the age of this vehicle there is some minor rust, and passenger window is missing. This Torino GT Convertible is a real "head turner". It is an absolute joy to drive with the top down and receives numerous compliments. Who knows how many of these Collector cars actually still exist so don't hesitate if you like what you see!
