This is a real Super Sport Chevelle that has the 396/350 HP original M21 Muncie 4-speed and rear end matched to the car. The car is a two owner, and I have a clean title in hand. The person I bought the car from had it for nearly 30 years. He bought the car when he was 16.

Everything works on the car- no issues, no rust, no dents. The interior, exterior and top are in excellent shape. You would be hard pressed to find one nicer then this "REAL" Chevelle Super Sport. The first three numbers in the vin are 138 confirming the car is a true Super Sport Chevelle. The car sounds really nice, new exhaust, with power steering, power brakes, and posi traction. New BF Goodrich TA's all around including the spare tire.

The car was originally dark blue. The last owner over the years completely changed the color to black; he said over the years he had it painted two times in black. The under carriage is nice, no rust. The motor has less then 1500 miles since the last owner had the engine rebuilt. All gauges work, including the roll tachometer. The drivers seat is electric, and the top is manual; easy for one person to take up and down. The rear window is glass.

For sale I have a 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 427 clone. You will be hard pressed to find another as clean and meticulously cared for as this one. I've owned the car for 3 years and have slowly improved and maintained it to form a virtually perfect muscle car. 1968 Chevelle SS 396. Second owner, family owned since new. True 138 VIN code matching numbers 396/325 HP motor with the original heads. Original TH400 3-speed automatic transmission and original 12-bolt rear-end with 3:55 gears. Original California car built at the Freemont plant and purchased in March 1968 from Courtesy Chevrolet in San Diego California and has remained in San Diego all its life. This car is all original except for a repaint to the original Palomino Ivory color (with factory stripe) and engine rebuild to factory specs. Complete original interior, original vinyl top . . . glass, chrome, stainless and body sheet metal are original. 95,000 original miles with 10,000 miles on the rebuilt motor in 1983 to factory specs. Options include; factory A/C (original components and still uses R12), P/S, P/B, tilt wheel, front and rear bumper guards, factory stripe, bench seat (rare for SS) and correct date coded 15x7 Rally wheels. Also have the set of SS full wheel cover style hubcaps and original 14x6 steel rims. This car has always been garaged since new and has not been driven in the rain or gotten wet since 1986. THIS IS A REAL 138 vin code non matching motor . The car is all numbers matching original drive train and body except for the engine and the right front fender which is Chevrolet new old stock. The engine is a brand new ( just had first oil change) 502/502 crate engine purchased from the Chevy dealer and has 502hp and 540 ft/lbs torque. The Transmission is the Munci 4 speed and the rear end is the 12 bolt with 3:55 gears. The entire car went through and frame off nut and bolt restoration and have full photos and receipts to document. Every wear item on the car was replaced with new or upgraded to modern specs during restoration. Entire suspension system brake systemsteering system all fuel and brake lines and drivetrain components were done completely. The frame was painted with the correct GM frame paint and looks like brand new. The paint is the original color red and is laser straight.The interior is all new except for the rear seat which is perfect the original headliner which is close to perfect and the dash pad which has one split. The wheels and tires are brand new and the wheels are one off custom built to my specs by American racing so they fit perfect and dont stick out or rub . Tires are bfg G-FORCE 315/35/17.
