*** This is a well put together and as clean as they come 1965 Mustang Fastback with the same owner since 1986. The owner that did the restoration/build is a Master Mechanic, with knowledge so vast in Ford Mustangs that I would consider him a walking encyclopedia. He was the president of the South Bay/Long Beach chapter of the Mustang Owners Club of California, as well as, a member of the Cobra Owners Club since 1979 and the Shelby American Automobile Club for over 20 years. He has been in the automotive racing business for over 30 years. He was also the chief mechanic and engine builder for the fastest 1965 GT350R models that raced in vintage races in the west.

The Fit, Finish and Drivability of this Mustang are designed to be enjoyed on the road, track and showroom. There was NO shortcuts or penny pinching in restoring and building this Mustang. Please contact me to learn more about this unique opportunity to own it. The paint is only two years old. She runs well and has a very nice exhaust note. You cannot sneak up on anyone...

* The Engine and Transmission details below are word for word by the owner/restorer. *
1968 302 Mexican Block. The Mexican block 302 has the same full width 2 bolt main caps as the Hi-Po 289, though the block is stronger with a higher nodularity content in the block along with extended cylinder skirts. The block is bored .030" over and is fitted with forged pistons and has been fully deburred internally with all of the oil galleys modified for screw in pipe plugs. The actual engine size is 306 cubic inches. The rotating assembly is fully balanced and the engine is blueprinted, a term which refers to ensuring that all clearances are kept extremely uniform and exact. The engine is fitted with ARP main studs, a high-volume Melling oil pump, Moroso windage tray and a Canton 7 quart road racing oil pan. The cylinder heads are 1968 302 four barrel heads that have been fitted with hardened seats, to allow for the use of unleaded fuel, they are fitted with larger intake and exhaust valves, and fully ported and polished by Rick Kemph. The rocker arms are the Comp Cams Magnum Rollers. The compression ratio is 9.5:1, to be street able on pump gas. The cam is an Engle, the brand I have used on all of my small-block Ford racing engines, and it is a mild hydraulic lifter version. The intake manifold is a dual-plane Edelbrock that has been port matched and massaged. The carb is a Holley 600 CFM vacuum secondary type that I have modified. I have removed the choke plate, changed out the standard float bowls for center-pivot, dual feed bowls, and it sits on a 1" four hole spacer to improve velocity. The distributor is a 1975 Ford electronic ignition type that I have completely rebuilt to NASCAR specs and modified to be fully mechanical advance by adjusting the weights and springs and removing and blanking out the vacuum advance module. The ignition is a NASCAR MSD ignition and the spark plug wires are the ones I used for NASCAR as well, Magnecore. The exhaust flows through Hedman Headers to 2.5" pipes through V-Force mufflers to exit at the rear valence.
The transmission started life as a 1966 C4 three speed automatic. I have completely rebuilt the transmission with high performance clutches, steels and bands. The intermediate servo has been replaced with a high performance larger servo which ensures very positive shifting. The valve body is an Art Carr fully manual, reverse pattern type. This means that the transmission is now a fully manual, three speed transmission without the need for a standard clutch or a vacuum modulator valve. There is also no automatic kick-down. You need to shift it into the gear you want.

Price $4500

Detail about this car by owner
Here's one of rarely American muscle cars offered by Ford, it's a Torino GT come with rare sport roof fastback built in 1972 need some works to be great. It could be a potential muscle to restored. A nicest Torino GT project still available in craigslist and waiting for magic touch.

This is a RARE 1972 Torino GT Sport Roof (fastback). This hard to find Torino was recently made famous by not only the Fast and Furious films, but also the Clint Eastwood movie "Gran Torino". The car is all original with a 3024V V8 and a C4 automatic transmission. The car is optioned with factory power steering, power disc brakes, factory air-conditioning, etc. The Torino does needs a full restoration as there is rust present in the floor boards and passenger side quarter panel behind the back tire. The car ran and drove until about two years ago when the previous owner removed the intake manifold for a different project. Unfortunately this has allowed the elements into the block for the past several years rendering the original motor useless. I have not tried turning over the original motor as I have a complete SBF 302 V8 long block that is included with the car at no additional cost. Clean and clear title in hand. $4500.00 cash/firm
*** If you think the car is to expensive I ask you to find another one for less!!***

Up For Sale!!! This is a 2-owner Classic Collector Car and Extremely Rare 1968 Ford Torino GT Convertible "Survivor". The actual original mileage is 66,402 miles and is Only 1 of 5310 built in 1968. This is a perfect candidate for a Collector Classic restoration because of its Rarity! Clean & Clear Florida title in hand! This Beauty features the original 302 CID V-8 engine and Automatic Transmission with Power steering, power windows and Disc brakes. Before acquiring this vehicle it was originally owned and purchased NEW by an elderly couple and kept garaged with the top down. I have a copy of the owner's manual, meticulous documentation and a binder of various model-specific data related to this 1968 Torino GT. Minor repairs have been performed over the past few years due to the vehicle's age. These repairs include: master cylinder and brake booster, tune up, new battery, some new hoses and belts, exhaust work and 2 front tires as well as some minor brake work. The previous owner had the car painted and the trunk was always in good shape. Relatively new carpeting was installed as well as some minor carburetor work. All minor work done was to try and preserve the integrity of the vehicle as it came from the factory. The convertible top works fine and Uninstalled black top with plastic rear window new in box (just like the original) is included! Also, black parade boot is brand new (as seen in the pictures). The car starts right up, runs well, and has plenty of pep for a 302CID V-8 engine. As far as I know, this is the original engine, transmission and all matching body parts. The bumpers are solid and original. Due to the age of this vehicle there is some minor rust, and passenger window is missing. This Torino GT Convertible is a real "head turner". It is an absolute joy to drive with the top down and receives numerous compliments. Who knows how many of these Collector cars actually still exist so don't hesitate if you like what you see!

Detail about this car
It has a 302 2v with a C4 trans This is a west coast car that was bought in Las Vegas. The body is great, as are the floors. The engine is strong and does not smoke. I have spent the past year undoing and redoing the PO's handiwork. The interior was gutted and reinstalled, and the cowl vent area was repaired at this time. The brakes, tires and wheels are in good condition This is an excellent MACH 1 clone candidate. Being that it is 41 years old, it does have things that need attention: The PO started to change from a standard rear seat to a fold down rear seat, but never finished. I have the trap door, etc for a fold down seat, but had decided to go back to the standard seat in the future The car has a clear title.

The classic cougar for sale that needs restored. These cars have the same unibody as the mustang and uses a lot of the same parts. These are very rare cars. All matching numbers with factory 302 motor, automatic transmission and A/C. Motor doesn't run but is NOT locked up. It does need a new top due to the fact that it once had a vinyl top and the metal under it rusted away.
