For sale is a very rare 1969 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser Woody Wagon...a 9 passenger, 3 row seating blast from the past that is perhaps the most aggressive looking 4 door muscle wagon ever produced.

This body style, with beautifully flaired front and rear fenders, includes an upper roof windshield and 4 foot long side roof skylights that offer rear seat passengers the opportunity to view scenery typically found in national parks and other settings....kinda like that 70's show, along with power and performance.....a true muscle wagon!

This beauty wears new deep indigo blue metallic paint....in contrast, it is offset by Hand Painted Wood Grained Panels along the sides and on the tailgate....paint job alone was $6500....these same locations from the factory were covered with simulated photo wood grain contact paper...the artist that produced this amazing wood effect then covered and protected his work with multiple coats of clear to make the contrast all the more striking...the results bring instant attention from on-lookers who seldom see this body style on the road any longer

This power wagon comes with just 35K miles on a rebuilt Oldsmobile 400 motor and rebuilt turbo 400 automatic transmission
It is equipped with a 12 bolt rear end, power steering, power brakes, dealer add-on Air conditioning-(needs charge), and a power rear window. The tailgate can be opened in the traditional manner, or swing open like a door.....it's so much easier to load the groceries and/or the kiddies...all doors have excellent fitment...open and close as new...all glass is good, windows roll up and down easily

The dual exhaust system is new, with very mellow muffler sounds that go perfect with the ride

Genuine U.S. mag wheels... tires have 80%+ tread remaining

Completely rebuilt front suspension with new coil springs, shocks, ball joints, stabilizer bushings, alignment...also a new battery

The interior is all that needs to be completed...the front and rear seats have already been redone in blue cloth....the 3rd seat still wears it's original vinyl and looks like it was never sat on.....we have heard that the factory chose to always upholster the rear most seat in vinyl because young children with food and drink might spill and it would be easier to clean the vinyl than the cloth....seems plausible ...the headliner is new, the door panels have new backboards already installed...they can be redone in either cloth or vinyl, your choice.....carpet kits cut specifically for this model are available on-line and are very reasonable....

So here's a chance to own a very rare wagon that you can take to the next level with a few inexpensive finishing touches of your own taste

I have clear California title in my name.....the wagon is currently registered and insured.....NO SMOG will ever be required.. sold as is, where is with no warranty of any type implied or expressed ...often when one of these Vista Cruiser Wagons appear for sale somewhere in the country, the asking price will typically be in the $5K-$7K range... and that's before any paint and all the mechanical work that has been done on this has even begun.....most will have major rust issues, especially in the roof and floor areas...but this body is truly exceptional....no use of bondo or other filler is apparent anywhere....floors, roof, rockers, lower doors, lower quarters, lower front fenders, drip rails all very solid
