Mustang is the favorite American pony car booming in sales in the half of the 1960s, and one of the best is Carrol Shelby’s GT series Mustangs, who was most famous for his success in the performance car arena at the time.

As shown here is the final model where Carrol Shelby was involved directly to made Mustang which bore his name before he leave Ford, was released in 1968 and is commonly known as the Shelby GT350 marketed under the Cobra name. This is a numbers matching 1968 Dodge Coronet R/T with a 440 and 727 Torque Flight automatic transmission. I have the original build sheet from the rear seat showing the originality. Numbers matching engine and transmission. The car runs but has been sitting for over 10 years. The transmission was rebuilt and has 3 miles on rebuild. This was a long term project that didn't ever materialize. The original color is the light sea foam green with white vinyl top and it had a red bee stripe from the factory. Original interior was white split bench seat. This car comes with all of the interior trim pieces, radio, radio cover plate, exterior molding. If you have read this far you know what your looking at in terms of rarity and value. This car deserves a full restoration and is a collectors muscle car due to the matching numbers engine and transmission. The fender tag was never present on the car but the car comes with the original build sheet from under the rear seat.
