An Honest Old Muscle Car, 1969 Oldsmobile 442

Buy American Muscle Cars, 1969 Oldsmobile 442 For Sale

Price $23950
Location Grand Junction, Colorado

Detail about this car by its owner
This 1969 Olds 442 is just an honest old muscle car. Real deal 442, not a clone. Code correct 400 engine, 4 speed rock crusher trans, power brakes, power steering, originally an air car but air conditioning now works by cranking down all four windows and hitting the gas.

Runs, drives and stops excellent. Recently drove it from Denver to Grand Junction – no issues – smooth, straight and ran cool. No leaks. New gas tank, brand new tires. Excellent interior, except dash which has a crack.

Paint code 57, originally Glade Green it now wears a presentable Trophy Blue. Not a show car – paint is a 10 footer but it gets thumbs up every time I drive it. This is basically an unrestored 442 4 speed car that has lots of potential for someone who wants to restore it to perfection, or for someone who just wants an honest driver for cruise nights that you don’t have to worry about getting a door ding in your ten thousand dollar paint job.

This Camaro has had a high quality restoration making this a very nice driver to enjoy. You can be proud to own at any car show, event or track day.

A majority of the Z10s were small block cars, far fewer were equipped with the 396. This car has been restored to look like a factory 396 with many of the upgrades hidden to make it look like an original. The motor is now a BBC 540 cubic inch Merlin BBC with roller cam but runs off of todays pump gas so you can get in and drive it anywhere. 4 speed transmission 12 bolt 4:10 gear posi-track . stock exhaust manifolds with all the attention in detail to make the exhaust look like factory from front to back. Just about every nut and bolt on the car has been restored to make this a 1969 Camaro run and drive like new. This car is as clean under the car as it is on the exterior or interior of the car. A lot of restorations skip the detail this car has underneath. Attached are photos of how clean this car really is.

1969 Ford Cobra With Original 428 Cobra Jet Engine

1969 Ford Cobra With Original 428 Cobra Jet Engine

Buy American Muscle Cars, 1969 Ford Cobra With Original 428 Cobra Jet Engine For Sale

Price $36500
Location Albuquerque, New Mexico

Detail about this car by its owner
Up for sale a rare American muscle car offered by owner, similar with Fairlane or Torino styles but the contents of packages is different is more powerful than both, that was called as the Ford Cobra it's highly performance model, it carry a 428 Cobra Jet engine.

For sale is a 1969 Ford Cobra with its original 428 Cobra Jet engine. This car is optioned for a Cobra with bucket seats (with comfort weave upholstery), console, P/S, P/B, A/T, tinted rear window defogger, tach (works), clock and Trak Lok rear axle. The Cobra was painted in factory color, Indian Fire, with a base / clear paint that was wet-sanded and buffed. The odometer on the car reads 87,336 miles and this appears to be correct as the only thing replaced in the interior was the carpet.

The engine is the numbers matching 428 Cobra Jet that was rebuilt using only the best parts and machine work. The engine has been decked, bored .035 and fitted with custom BRC flat top racing pistons, Eagle rods, a BHJ damper. In addition, the engine was internally balanced for smoother operation (read very expensive) and fitted with a Reactor brand SFI approved flexplate. The heads were mildly ported on the intake and stainless intake valves were installed by Aire Research Engineering. The cam is a Crower hydraulic unit with 230-236 duration @ .050 it has a noticeable lope at idle but can be driven daily. The carburetor is the original and still has the original tag. The intake, exhaust manifolds and air cleaner are all original.

The C-6 transmission is the original unit and has the vin # stamped in the case. The transmission has been rebuilt and a Ford Motorsport low gear kit was added with torrington bearings for lower friction. This kit makes first and second gear lower for better acceleration with the nice cruise rpm of this cars 3.00 nodular 31 spline trak lok rear end. The drive train was built with a 'cost is no object' approach for a strong, durable, quick muscle car with factory appearance.

This same 'only the best will do' attitude carried over to the suspension that was rebuilt with almost all NOS Ford components. Noticeable exceptions are the Eibach / Pro Motorsport variable rate front springs and aftermarket shocks. The steering box and p/s control unit were also rebuilt. The exhaust is also new and is 2 1/2 inches with super turbo mufflers.

The Cobra wears 15 x 7 Redline tires with Magnum 500 wheels. Also included in the sale are the factory wheels with reproduction Firestone Wide Oval F 70-14 tires.

While the Cobra is in excellent condition, it is not perfect. The driver's seat has a small rip on the back of the seat and by the seat stop that can be seen only when the seat is leaned forward. The steering wheel has two cracks and the clock works only intermittently, all minor issues.

1969 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser Woody Wagon

1969 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser Woody Wagon

Buy American Muscle Cars, 1969 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser Woody Wagon For Sale

Price $9500
Location Los Angeles, California

Detail about this car by owner
For sale is a very rare 1969 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser Woody Wagon...a 9 passenger, 3 row seating blast from the past that is perhaps the most aggressive looking 4 door muscle wagon ever produced.

This body style, with beautifully flaired front and rear fenders, includes an upper roof windshield and 4 foot long side roof skylights that offer rear seat passengers the opportunity to view scenery typically found in national parks and other settings....kinda like that 70's show, along with power and performance.....a true muscle wagon!

This beauty wears new deep indigo blue metallic paint....in contrast, it is offset by Hand Painted Wood Grained Panels along the sides and on the tailgate....paint job alone was $6500....these same locations from the factory were covered with simulated photo wood grain contact paper...the artist that produced this amazing wood effect then covered and protected his work with multiple coats of clear to make the contrast all the more striking...the results bring instant attention from on-lookers who seldom see this body style on the road any longer

This power wagon comes with just 35K miles on a rebuilt Oldsmobile 400 motor and rebuilt turbo 400 automatic transmission
It is equipped with a 12 bolt rear end, power steering, power brakes, dealer add-on Air conditioning-(needs charge), and a power rear window. The tailgate can be opened in the traditional manner, or swing open like a door.....it's so much easier to load the groceries and/or the kiddies...all doors have excellent fitment...open and close as new...all glass is good, windows roll up and down easily

The dual exhaust system is new, with very mellow muffler sounds that go perfect with the ride

Genuine U.S. mag wheels... tires have 80%+ tread remaining

Completely rebuilt front suspension with new coil springs, shocks, ball joints, stabilizer bushings, alignment...also a new battery

The interior is all that needs to be completed...the front and rear seats have already been redone in blue cloth....the 3rd seat still wears it's original vinyl and looks like it was never sat on.....we have heard that the factory chose to always upholster the rear most seat in vinyl because young children with food and drink might spill and it would be easier to clean the vinyl than the cloth....seems plausible ...the headliner is new, the door panels have new backboards already installed...they can be redone in either cloth or vinyl, your choice.....carpet kits cut specifically for this model are available on-line and are very reasonable....

So here's a chance to own a very rare wagon that you can take to the next level with a few inexpensive finishing touches of your own taste

I have clear California title in my name.....the wagon is currently registered and insured.....NO SMOG will ever be required.. sold as is, where is with no warranty of any type implied or expressed ...often when one of these Vista Cruiser Wagons appear for sale somewhere in the country, the asking price will typically be in the $5K-$7K range... and that's before any paint and all the mechanical work that has been done on this has even begun.....most will have major rust issues, especially in the roof and floor areas...but this body is truly exceptional....no use of bondo or other filler is apparent anywhere....floors, roof, rockers, lower doors, lower quarters, lower front fenders, drip rails all very solid

Rare Muscle Car, 1969 Ford Cobra Fastback

Rare Muscle Car, 1969 Ford Cobra Fastback

Buy American Muscle Cars, 1969 Ford Cobra Fastback For Sale

Price $35000
Location Oregon

Detail about this car by its owner
For sale by owner, with my clear Oregon title in hand, in my name, ready to sign & sell.
NO phone calls or texting!! In order to buy my car, you need to come talk with me in person, see the car with your own eyes, and go for a test drive. That way you won't have any doubts about its overall condition inside & out and/or how well it runs & drives.

Some of the information on my car was given to me by the previous owners, including the paperwork, and, I also had it inspected by a local classic auto restoration shop when I purchased it.

1969 Ford Cobra Fastback. This is not really a Torino, and although the Cobras were made from the Fairlane platform, it's not really a Fairlane either. The "Cobra" is a separate model from the Torino & Fairlane. Many people including the previous owners and even the NADA wrongfully lists them as a "Torino" Cobra, but officially they're not.

I have the MARTI report that verifies it's a REAL Cobra & it's factory options (R-code Ram-Air 428, C6, PS, PDB, AC, Buckets, Traction-Lock, etc). It was sold new at Freeway Ford in Los Angeles California. The VIN is 9K46Rxxxxxx, and according to the info & paperwork from the previous owner, as well as also having it examined by a local auto restoration shop, yes, it still has the Original R-code 428-CJ motor. You are welcome to check any & all numbers when you come see it in person, as well as also look at all the motor receipts & the Marti Report. They only made 11,099 Cobra fastbacks in 1969, this is one of only 1135 ever made with the Candy Apple Red paint & Black interior colors, and is one of only 932 made with Factory Air Conditioning!

One of the previous owners had the motor rebuilt as follows,,
Balanced & blueprinted and bored .40 over. It has the "Super Cobra Jet" mechanical camshaft with solid lifters and 10.5:1 compression. The oil system has been blueprinted, oil passages have been enlarged & flared, and a Nascar Melling high volume & high pressure oil pump, with a Hayden external oil cooler. The oil PSI is at about 100-pounds. There is also an aluminum intake manifold with a Holley 735-CFM carburetor.

When the motor was rebuilt, they also replaced the original 3.00 (Traction Lock) rear axle gears with a new set of 3.89 gears (Traction-Lock), so it is NOT a "Highway" car,, it's geared for short distance, quick acceleration like a Drag-Pack car. It is the correct Candy Apple Red color paint with correct black interior. Aside from the wheels & some aftermarket gauges added to the car, it is still all original. I have the original Magnum 500 wheels, AC compressor, Ram-Air rubber boot for the air cleaner, and the original intake manifold.

It is a very straight, solid, RUST FREE car, including the floors, trunk & undercarriage. Runs very Strong & performs very well. It's NOT a show car, not fully restored, has a few cosmetic flaws including some chips in the paint & some scratches on the back window,, but as you can see in the pictures it is still in very nice condition inside & out,, and attracts LOTS of attention, complements & thumbs up when people see it.

The current NADA values are as follows,, and make sure to add on the options for the 428-CJ motor, air conditioning & Ram-Air.
The Low is - $14,380. Average - $41,100. High - $68,860.

My car is better than Average, but would need some restoring to be a High category car. State Farm looked it over when I bought it, they photographed it, checked the NADA values, then assessed it & insured it at $50K as-is, in it's present condition. I purchased it last summer, drove it around town for a while, then put it into storage for the winter, with plans of it being my summertime cruiser again in 2017. However, I'm now purchasing a newer house, and am selling the Cobra to add the funds to the real estate deal.

I'll sell it for $35K to the first one who can show up in person, so you can see it with your own eyes, and go for a test drive (weather pending). I'm not really interested in any trades, however I might consider taking a 1965 - 1973 Mustang, or a similar Torino, Fairlane, Ranchero in PART trade, but you'll need to offer me lots of cash with it.

As I mentioned above, NO phone calls, I will NOT do business over the phone or through E-mail. I will only deal with real people, in person, face to face, the old fashioned way. The bottom line is, if you want to buy this muscle car, you need to come see it & talk with me in person. Located in the Eugene Oregon area. Thank you.

I will NOT reply to suspected scammers or people who don't seem to understand my ad.

Price $15999

Detail about this car by its owner
1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass 6 passenger Wagon California black plate car (ZXD 298). 129,000 original miles. Entire life in Southern California until I bought it in 2012. Rare car in that it was ordered new with a 350 V8, 3 speed stick on the column and factory air. No power steering and no power brakes! I changed out the motor and put in a 455 with 442 exhaust manifolds, performer, Holley spread bore, HEI. I also converted the front brakes to discs and added power steering. The 3 speed stick was retained and a new flywheel, 10 1/2" HD clutch and pressure plate were added. It has a 2 1/2" aluminized exhaust system with an X tube and Walker Dynomax VJ mufflers. It has a 12 bolt rear with 3:31 gears (open). It has Hellwig HD front and rear sway bars and KYB gas adjust shocks. New radiator. It has silver metallic powder coated 15"X 7" wheels with Kumhos. I had the car repainted the original Nassau Blue (base/clear) about a year ago. No rust in car period. Paint was oxidized thanks to the California sun. I added a radio delete plate. Car drives very well, gets good mileage. Less than 1200 miles since all work has been completed. As to the interior, door panels, headliner cargo area are great. I have a new loop light blue carpet kit which is included. Front seat needs to be redone but that's it. Zinc additive in the oil and anti-ethanol additive in the gas tank. All lights etc. work. I will include a nice running 455 I bought a year ago that has all the correct AC brackets etc. with the right deal. (See last photo for a look at it.) Good value here as you would be well into the "20's" to get to the point this car is at now. Starting with a rust free California car would even make the number higher. Restored lifetime Washington license plate. $15,999... late model Honda, Camry trade possible.
