Beautiful 1972 Buick GS For Sale

Beautiful 1972 Buick GS For Sale

Buy American Muscle Cars, Beautiful 1972 Buick GS For Sale

Price $22500
Location Oregon

Detail about this car by owner
This is a 1972 Buick GS, VIN is 4G37K2Z108xxx, the "G" in the VIN verifies it's a GS, the "K" indicates the GS 350-V8 4-barrel motor, and the "Z" means it was built at the Fremont California assembly plant. It was sold new at Bauer Motors in Costa Mesa, California. The car has the Factory 1972 GS Ram-Air 350-V8 motor, it is the code-75 "Fire Red" paint color, and has the code-A "White" vinyl top.

It's been in California for all of it's life until coming up here to Oregon a few years ago. Back in 2008 it was restored & repainted, and as you can see in the pictures it is still a very NICE, CLEAN car inside & out, and still in excellent overall condition! The 350 motor runs very strong, transmission shifts well, and is very fun to drive. The odometer shows about 08000 miles, which is over 100,000 miles (108,000). It is a very straight, solid, RUST FREE California car.

It's pretty much an all original GS, however, when it was restored in 2008, some of the interior upholstery (seats & door panels) was changed from the original "white" color to Black. Some people might prefer the original white color, but many other people would also rather have the black color (myself included).

My GS is equipped with the following items,,

Ram-Air 350-V8, 4-barrel motor,
Turbo-350 Automatic Transmission,
Air Conditioning (still all hooked up & blowing nice cold air),
Power steering,
Power disc brakes,
Bucket seats,
Console with floor shifter,
Gauges,
Tachometer,
Speed alert buzzer,
Sport mirrors,
Heavy duty cooling system (engine & transmission),
Heavy duty suspension with rear sway-bar,
Performance rear axle, 3.42 (non-posi),
Sport steering wheel,
AM Radio,
Soft-Ray tinted glass,
15-inch Rally wheels,
Dual exhaust.

I bought it last year, enjoyed driving it around during the summer, and kept is stored in my garage the rest of the time.
Price is $22,500. I doubt you'll find a nicer '72 GS for the price. I'm not interested in any trades.

I will NOT deal with unknown people over the phone, no matter how serious you claim to be, and I will NOT "ship" the car! No exceptions!
In order to buy my GS, you need to be able to come to Oregon to talk with me in person, and to see the car with your own eyes & go for a test drive, so you'll have no doubts about its overall condition and/or how well it runs & drives.

If you want to come see my GS in person, please send a message & please check your E-MAIL for my reply, and we'll arrange a time to meet.

Located in the Eugene, Oregon area, clear Oregon title in hand, in my name, ready to sign & sell. Thank you.

Original Torque flight 727 automatic transmission , professionally rebuilt less than 1000 miles since rebuild as well (87,884 miles on Odometer) , 88,692 original miles on odometer. New Paint job/ 0 rust, in Metallic Silver, complete new black interior, 60 % of the trim was re-chromed other 40% looks good with a few blems, AM radio needs to be repaired, New gas line and tank, New tires, Power Brakes upgraded to dual master cylinder with disk brakes in front and drums in rears, power steering, front end rebuilt, dash has been recalibrated all gauges work except engine temp gauge (I have a new under dash gauge installed) and the tachometer is not reading correct, rebuilt heater control with AC that works great and rotating headlights that work!!! This was not a rotisserie restoration, but it was a very very thorough sand, body and new paint job. There are some trim pieces that have not been restored though everything looks presentable. The rear end and steering box are the only things I can think of that have not been rebuilt, but both work great. Pictures don't do the car justice!!!!! It's a real looker, compliments everywhere you go!!!!! The car was just in a Jim Beam commercial, so it is a very clean car!!!! VIN# XP29E61196475, $26,000.00

Rare Muscle Car, 1969 Ford Cobra Fastback

Rare Muscle Car, 1969 Ford Cobra Fastback

Buy American Muscle Cars, 1969 Ford Cobra Fastback For Sale

Price $35000
Location Oregon

Detail about this car by its owner
For sale by owner, with my clear Oregon title in hand, in my name, ready to sign & sell.
NO phone calls or texting!! In order to buy my car, you need to come talk with me in person, see the car with your own eyes, and go for a test drive. That way you won't have any doubts about its overall condition inside & out and/or how well it runs & drives.

Some of the information on my car was given to me by the previous owners, including the paperwork, and, I also had it inspected by a local classic auto restoration shop when I purchased it.

1969 Ford Cobra Fastback. This is not really a Torino, and although the Cobras were made from the Fairlane platform, it's not really a Fairlane either. The "Cobra" is a separate model from the Torino & Fairlane. Many people including the previous owners and even the NADA wrongfully lists them as a "Torino" Cobra, but officially they're not.

I have the MARTI report that verifies it's a REAL Cobra & it's factory options (R-code Ram-Air 428, C6, PS, PDB, AC, Buckets, Traction-Lock, etc). It was sold new at Freeway Ford in Los Angeles California. The VIN is 9K46Rxxxxxx, and according to the info & paperwork from the previous owner, as well as also having it examined by a local auto restoration shop, yes, it still has the Original R-code 428-CJ motor. You are welcome to check any & all numbers when you come see it in person, as well as also look at all the motor receipts & the Marti Report. They only made 11,099 Cobra fastbacks in 1969, this is one of only 1135 ever made with the Candy Apple Red paint & Black interior colors, and is one of only 932 made with Factory Air Conditioning!

One of the previous owners had the motor rebuilt as follows,,
Balanced & blueprinted and bored .40 over. It has the "Super Cobra Jet" mechanical camshaft with solid lifters and 10.5:1 compression. The oil system has been blueprinted, oil passages have been enlarged & flared, and a Nascar Melling high volume & high pressure oil pump, with a Hayden external oil cooler. The oil PSI is at about 100-pounds. There is also an aluminum intake manifold with a Holley 735-CFM carburetor.

When the motor was rebuilt, they also replaced the original 3.00 (Traction Lock) rear axle gears with a new set of 3.89 gears (Traction-Lock), so it is NOT a "Highway" car,, it's geared for short distance, quick acceleration like a Drag-Pack car. It is the correct Candy Apple Red color paint with correct black interior. Aside from the wheels & some aftermarket gauges added to the car, it is still all original. I have the original Magnum 500 wheels, AC compressor, Ram-Air rubber boot for the air cleaner, and the original intake manifold.

It is a very straight, solid, RUST FREE car, including the floors, trunk & undercarriage. Runs very Strong & performs very well. It's NOT a show car, not fully restored, has a few cosmetic flaws including some chips in the paint & some scratches on the back window,, but as you can see in the pictures it is still in very nice condition inside & out,, and attracts LOTS of attention, complements & thumbs up when people see it.

The current NADA values are as follows,, and make sure to add on the options for the 428-CJ motor, air conditioning & Ram-Air.
The Low is - $14,380. Average - $41,100. High - $68,860.

My car is better than Average, but would need some restoring to be a High category car. State Farm looked it over when I bought it, they photographed it, checked the NADA values, then assessed it & insured it at $50K as-is, in it's present condition. I purchased it last summer, drove it around town for a while, then put it into storage for the winter, with plans of it being my summertime cruiser again in 2017. However, I'm now purchasing a newer house, and am selling the Cobra to add the funds to the real estate deal.

I'll sell it for $35K to the first one who can show up in person, so you can see it with your own eyes, and go for a test drive (weather pending). I'm not really interested in any trades, however I might consider taking a 1965 - 1973 Mustang, or a similar Torino, Fairlane, Ranchero in PART trade, but you'll need to offer me lots of cash with it.

As I mentioned above, NO phone calls, I will NOT do business over the phone or through E-mail. I will only deal with real people, in person, face to face, the old fashioned way. The bottom line is, if you want to buy this muscle car, you need to come see it & talk with me in person. Located in the Eugene Oregon area. Thank you.

I will NOT reply to suspected scammers or people who don't seem to understand my ad.

Buy American Muscle Cars, 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme For Sale

Price $14250
Location San Diego, California

Detail about this car by its owner
Used 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme has been restored being offered for sale in California, asking $14250. I have restored this 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass S from ground up and it is 85% done from being a show worthy classic. I re did the entire main parts of the engine, it starts up and fires up on the first try. To many new things to name such s new rims, tires, paint, upholstery dash, emblem touching up and all of the fine details that needed to be done. Upgraded new bucket seats for racing and reupholstered package tray and headliner for a fresh look. All that the car needs is a tune up and to be put tightly back together to be a road worthy race car. Minimal effort required in this rust free California car project. It also has the rare 442 hood and all of the upgraded S emblems. An AC, tune up and Stereo are all this car needs and it is ready to hit the road, I would recommend to get the car towed prior to taking it. It can drive around the block but it needs brakes and fluids as its been sitting for years. The registration is current and pink slip is in hand. Clean title CA car.

This car is an original 1968 Cutlass S with matching numbers and original engine

1971 Buick Skylark Custom GSX

1971 Buick Skylark GSX Custom

Buy American Muscle Cars, 1971 Buick Skylark Custom GSX For Sale

Price $15950
Location Santee, California

Detail about this car by owner
I'm selling my grandma's Buick. She bought the car in 1971 from the original owner after only six months. The car is a 71 Skylark that's always been garage kept with zero rust.

Before she passed away she gave me the car. I am selling because I no longer have a place to store it and it is too nice of a car to be parked outside. In 2008 it underwent a restoration at a friend's shop who does Restorations for a living. The car was stripped to bare metal and prepped and repainted to a black GSX. As you can see in the photos the paint job is really clean. The paint job alone cost $12,000.

The body was taken off the frame, power washed and all the body mounts were replaced. The front and rear suspension was also replaced with Moog parts. Disc brakes were added to the front. The bumpers have been re-chromed and the n25 exhaust cutouts were added. The motor is .010 over with Fel-Pro Pistons, Cleveland 77 bearings, and a Comp Cam. The heads are machine with hard seeds and the transmission is a turbo 350 that was rebuilt with a mild shift kit. The exhaust is two and a half inch mandrel bent tailpipes with Spintech mufflers.

The interior was never completely finished but is pretty decent as you can see in the pictures. The front bench, headliner and door panels have been replaced and are in good condition. Weather stripping and felt is also in good shape. The rear bench is still original green. Some minor parts are left to be finished. The original radio, matching steering wheel, Skylark emblems and air conditioning unit are included but haven't been installed.

This car has never been in an accident. Is currently registered. One of the nicest looking Buick Skylarks on the road. Without fail, this car gets compliments every time I take it out for a drive!

Please, serious inquires only. Asking $15,9500 or best offer. No low ballers!

*** This is a well put together and as clean as they come 1965 Mustang Fastback with the same owner since 1986. The owner that did the restoration/build is a Master Mechanic, with knowledge so vast in Ford Mustangs that I would consider him a walking encyclopedia. He was the president of the South Bay/Long Beach chapter of the Mustang Owners Club of California, as well as, a member of the Cobra Owners Club since 1979 and the Shelby American Automobile Club for over 20 years. He has been in the automotive racing business for over 30 years. He was also the chief mechanic and engine builder for the fastest 1965 GT350R models that raced in vintage races in the west.

The Fit, Finish and Drivability of this Mustang are designed to be enjoyed on the road, track and showroom. There was NO shortcuts or penny pinching in restoring and building this Mustang. Please contact me to learn more about this unique opportunity to own it. The paint is only two years old. She runs well and has a very nice exhaust note. You cannot sneak up on anyone...

* The Engine and Transmission details below are word for word by the owner/restorer. *
ENGINE:
1968 302 Mexican Block. The Mexican block 302 has the same full width 2 bolt main caps as the Hi-Po 289, though the block is stronger with a higher nodularity content in the block along with extended cylinder skirts. The block is bored .030" over and is fitted with forged pistons and has been fully deburred internally with all of the oil galleys modified for screw in pipe plugs. The actual engine size is 306 cubic inches. The rotating assembly is fully balanced and the engine is blueprinted, a term which refers to ensuring that all clearances are kept extremely uniform and exact. The engine is fitted with ARP main studs, a high-volume Melling oil pump, Moroso windage tray and a Canton 7 quart road racing oil pan. The cylinder heads are 1968 302 four barrel heads that have been fitted with hardened seats, to allow for the use of unleaded fuel, they are fitted with larger intake and exhaust valves, and fully ported and polished by Rick Kemph. The rocker arms are the Comp Cams Magnum Rollers. The compression ratio is 9.5:1, to be street able on pump gas. The cam is an Engle, the brand I have used on all of my small-block Ford racing engines, and it is a mild hydraulic lifter version. The intake manifold is a dual-plane Edelbrock that has been port matched and massaged. The carb is a Holley 600 CFM vacuum secondary type that I have modified. I have removed the choke plate, changed out the standard float bowls for center-pivot, dual feed bowls, and it sits on a 1" four hole spacer to improve velocity. The distributor is a 1975 Ford electronic ignition type that I have completely rebuilt to NASCAR specs and modified to be fully mechanical advance by adjusting the weights and springs and removing and blanking out the vacuum advance module. The ignition is a NASCAR MSD ignition and the spark plug wires are the ones I used for NASCAR as well, Magnecore. The exhaust flows through Hedman Headers to 2.5" pipes through V-Force mufflers to exit at the rear valence.
TRANSMISSION:
The transmission started life as a 1966 C4 three speed automatic. I have completely rebuilt the transmission with high performance clutches, steels and bands. The intermediate servo has been replaced with a high performance larger servo which ensures very positive shifting. The valve body is an Art Carr fully manual, reverse pattern type. This means that the transmission is now a fully manual, three speed transmission without the need for a standard clutch or a vacuum modulator valve. There is also no automatic kick-down. You need to shift it into the gear you want.
